Consulting

A lot of what I know is stuff that seems "obvious." It's stuff I've learned the hard way, and more rarely, easily learned. I'm a jack of many trades, basically going in any direction that peeks my curiousity.

I have two small children, co-parenting with my husbands busy schedule, running websites, and building my own website teaching tools.

That said, people energize me greatly and I am always open to finding out what you'd like to know more about. If I feel I have something to contribute, we'll work out a reasonable rate! What I do not wish to do is tell you what I've spent hundreds of hours developing and teaching. The best use of YOUR time AND money, and MY time is to get my website training CD's, if the topics you want to know about are in them. There is a lot more I know and am willing to share beyond the CD's. Just ask.

My ideal clients

There are two opposite types of people I really appreciate. The one is the totally clueless person, who is open and very grateful for everything I can share. I feel honored to help someone figure out a very confusing world and greatly appreciate the trust they put in me.

The other type of person I like is the person with the resources to DO something with my advice. I love people with the ability, whether financial, or simply having a go-getter personality, to actually put things in action. I don't like to talk just to talk but to actually see CHANGE happen. This is where I've been TRAPPED. I tend to want to "do the changes" and then enter another role that is not nearly as engaging for me nor the best use of my time. "Doing" often requires a webmaster, graphic designer, or your own time and effort. Website changes are very often like home remodeling...you dig in and see chaos underneath what appeared to be calm walls. I have rarely worked with a website that wasn't a disaster, small or large, underneath what appeared to be a normal website.
